THE RANCH

Windsong Hollow Ranch, meaning "songs of the wind" is a beautiful naturally-wooded 22 acre property which is dedicated to the preservation of native Texas plants and wildlife. Our cottages are situated on land certified by the state of Texas as a Wildlife Management Area. On the property, you will have the opportunity to view native Texas wildlife such as songbirds, white-tail deer, rabbits, raccoons and much more. The animals are in their natural habitat and come and go as they wish so what you see may vary on any particular visit. At the nearby pond you'll find chairs to enjoy the peaceful setting.

Innkeepers, Todd and Andrea Busch are dedicated to the preservation of Texas Wildlife. The Buschs wanted to share the beauty of native Texas plants and wildlife with others by providing a relaxing get-away that includes the luxury and amenities of a bed and breakfast with the privacy and country setting traditionally found in cabins. Our cottages allow you to come for one or two quiet days, spend time with someone special, listen to the wind, hear native songbirds, take walks through the property, look for and identify animal tracks in the sand, sip a glass of wine under the stars, and just relax and rejuvenate.

Todd and Andrea have lived in the area for over 20 years. They love the area because it has small town charm and friendly people, yet it is located close to the city of Houston. The area has so much to offer, including museums, antique shops, dining, and it is less than an hour’s drive to the beaches of Freeport and Galveston. It's a way to get away without the time or expense of a big vacation.
